what it issss what it is?...

ahh.. the campaign4art... the wheels are in motion, and on canada day, saturday july 1st, 2006... we will unfold a new staple in canadian music.

the concept is simple:
.3 canadian artists come out and perform a 15 minute set each
.following their individual sets, they collaborate and rock a 10 minute set together
.a visual artist will also be chosen to showcase their work in the lounge
.our resident dj's will be spinning strictly the goodness all night
.part party... part concert...

theCampaign:

.theCampaign4ART (artists with real teeth) has one main goal: givecanadian artists (musicians, dancers, painters, photographers, clothing designers) an environment for them to showcase the gifts that they have been blessed with, and to also give them a chance to meet one another and work together...

.with 500 people at each event, 5,000 flyers distributed around the GTA every month, and a ton of promotional spots on college radio, we're hoping to find sponsors who can help with our promotional costs

.ultimately, we want to eliminate the concepts of '$10 covers' and 'guest lists'... we want to make this a free event, first come first served, all we ask is that if your senses are enjoying the event, pick up some of the artist's merchandise... it's really THAT simple
